Over the years, he successfully diversified into the retail, wholesale, and printing sectors, where he developed deep insights into supply chain management, vendor relations, inventory control, production planning, and quality assurance. In 2022, driven by his passion for travel and people-centric service, Mr. Kanwar entered the hospitality industry alongside his elder brother, Mr. Kuldeep Singh Kanwar. Together, they founded Hotel The Chabal in Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh, with a shared vision of creating a legacy-driven boutique hospitality brand that blends refined luxury with personalized service and authentic hill-station charm.

Leadership & Tourism Engagement

As Managing Director, Mr. Kanwar oversees strategic planning, hotel operations, guest experience standards, and brand development. He currently serves as BJP State Co-Convenor, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Cell, and is an active member of the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Association (HPTDA), contributing to the growth and sustainability of Himachal Pradesh’s tourism ecosystem.

I've been working in various sections of the tourism industry since 2006. I was Branch Manager at Amigo Travel's (Rajasthan Office), Heritage India Journey (Rajasthan), Jenisha Holidays (Mumbai) Concierge at Taj Rambagh Palace and Hilton, and had a role in group bookings at hotels all over Rajasthan for domestic and inbound clients. Apart from management roles in high-profile companies, I also have a huge connection in the travel trade industry (domestic and inbound), working for 150+ domestic agents in India and 40+ FTOs as a B2B agent. After working in the travel industry for about 20 years, I decided to pursue my passion for my own travel company.
