GTTAA Code of Conduct: Objectives and Goals
- The purpose of the GTTAA Code of Conduct is:
- To ensure that tourists enjoy consistently high-quality service from all GTTAA members.
To strengthen the reputation of the GTTAA and its members as trusted professionals in the tourism industry.
As a recognized symbol of reliability and professionalism, the GTTAA sets high standards for service providers. In today’s dynamic tourism environment, strong and ethical relationships between service providers and travelers are more important than ever.
By joining the GTTAA, members commit to conducting business with integrity, professionalism, and accountability, adhering to the Code of Conduct, and upholding the organization’s standards of excellence.
Complaints under this Code must be submitted in writing to the GTTAA office by official mail. Membership is available in three categories: Active, Affiliate, and Associate.
At the core of everything our members do, we hold these principles:
- We treat others as we would like to be treated.
- We act with honesty and fairness toward everyone—customers, service providers, employees, employers (past and present), and the broader community.
- We respect the right of all parties we work with to earn a reasonable profit.
- We believe that running a profitable business is not only a right but also a responsibility, ensuring the sustainability of our services and the quality of the services we provide.
- We are committed to continuously improving the value of our products and services to our customers.
- We believe that the well-being of all is possible only when we provide fair wages, stable employment, and opportunities for learning and career development.
- We strive to treat everyone with courtesy, maintain fairness, and provide prompt, high-quality service to all our customers.
- We encourage all GTTAA members to showcase their companies, products, and services with integrity, dedication, and pride.
- We recognize our duty to our customers, suppliers, business partners, and fellow GTTAA members, and we prioritize this responsibility above all other interests.
- We understand that business practices and social responsibilities are closely connected, and we strive to ensure that all our policies promote the shared success and satisfaction of everyone involved.
Compliance and Conclusion
By becoming a member of GTTAA, individuals acknowledge that they have read, understood, and accepted the Code of Conduct, and agree to uphold its principles in both letter and spirit while conducting their business. Any violation of these provisions may lead to disciplinary measures, including possible expulsion from GTTAA and reporting to the relevant authorities.
Members are expected to fully cooperate with any investigation initiated by GTTAA regarding alleged breaches of the Code of Conduct and to adhere to the procedures established for investigation and enforcement.
